# 33 Commitment & Teamwork

“Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work a society work, a civilization work”.   Vince Lombardi

There’s a big difference between being part of a work group or being part of a team. Some people use this two words interchangeably, but their meanings are very different. A work group is simply a collection of people who share the same work space, the same roles, the same department etc. They are individuals working for themselves. Team members share the same objectives, the same strategies, the same resources, the same commitment to succeed for the team, the department, the company etc. Which type of person would you rather have working with you?
